Voila! It’s done!

photoA long overdue report for dear Undina and other jigsaw lovers, here is our completed Ravensburger puzzle – “one thousand opportunities to celebrate,” as one of our chief Puzzle Masters eloquently stated. This based on the fact that every time a piece fit, someone in the party would let out a loud whoop!

This scene has everything a proper library should, walls and balconies stuffed with books, a rocking horse, a wagon, a fireplace and globe, butterflies under glass and artifacts from around the world. Not to mention a good old cup of tea.

    I’m impressed!

Have you ever tried any of the Mystery Jigsaw Puzzles? We did it once in asmall group over the holiday retreat in mountains and it was A LOT of fun for everybody.

hmm…Mystery Jigsaw? I’ll have to take a look for those… Today I got a new one, very girly, Cinderella’s Transformation, also by Ravensburger. I love the pigmentation and feel of their puzzle pieces.

Before our friend brought one of those I’d never heard of them as well. The idea is to solve both a puzzle (there is no picture to go by) and to solve a murder plot.

Quite an accomplishment! I hope you plan to frame it as a keepsake.

The kids would like to frame it, my husband and I want to take it apart, tuck it away, and save it for another day to put together again. I’m curious what most folks do with their completed puzzles?

      • YAPCaB says :

My family was never much of one for puzzles. My wife’s family is the opposite. They frame every involved puzzle and use it to bring back lots of good memories. Sometimes one family member will frame a large puzzle they completed as a gift.
